Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Diani Beach/ Mombasa Island at 07.30 Hrs. Arriving at the jetty you will meet a boat waiting to take you to an amazing adventure of canoe trip into Ramisi river.
Funzi island trip will take you on a sailing adventure through a maze of mangroves in a motorized canoe. Sail up the Ramisi River which flourishes with exceptional birdlife like and aquatic animals like crocodiles.
Proceed to the Ramisi channel and to the village of Bodo where we will be welcomed with a sumptuous lunch, which is held in an African style and mainly consists of fresh local sea food.
After the lunch meal, we walk a little through the village and learn about the history of the people who live here.
Funzi island tour ends with a sail back as we enjoy the sun and take awesome pictures of the landscapes and water. We will take a stop on the sandbank for swimming and making the most of this little piece of paradise. Remember to carry your towel, sunscreen and beach sandals. Our driver will then drive back to your hotel.
